As Broussard’s commemorates 102 years of fine dining, we also celebrate our native foods and traditions that share the same rich history as our grande dame restaurant. In this delicious menu, Chef Jimi Setchim showcases Creole Cream Cheese, an intriguing and often forgotten about item, that was once a staple of the South Louisiana household. A sweet, tart, mildly salty dairy product with the texture of yogurt that was an essential breakfast item across New Orleans, it is a true heritage food that embodies the history and lifespan of our City.
